Job Description

What you will be doing:
The following are only a few of the duties and primary job functions that fall under the purview of the laundry manager:
- Always provide courteous, professional, and engaging service.
- Observe departmental guidelines, rules, and service standards.
- Perform a variety of tasks in the laundry department.
- Feed the folding machine with the linens and laundry.
- Upon receiving laundry from the machine, sort and separate the linen.
- Feed, accept, and document the contract linen
- Please list any maintenance needs.
- Observing all safety and hygiene regulations
- When operating hotel and guest vehicles, abide by the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety regulations.
- Additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Your qualifications and abilities include:
- A plus would be prior cleaning or laundry experience, and a plus would be an Alberta driver’s license.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Interpersonal and problem-solving skills that are strong
- Highly responsible and trustworthy
- Capacity to work together successfully with colleagues in a group with little management and function admirably under tension in a quick-moving setting
- Capacity to give close consideration to the requests of visitors while consistently remaining created and amiable

- Hurried, posh, and luxurious hotel
- In close proximity to renowned hiking paths in the summer and Marmot Basin Ski Resort in the winter

- 2–6 hours per day of walking
- 2–8 hours per day spent standing
- Reaching/bending: 4–8 hours per day
- Pulling/Pushing: 4–8 hours per day
- Physical exertion: lifting up to 40 lbs. necessary; ongoing repetitive motion
- Environmental stressors include working in extreme heat or cold, loud noises, and using dangerous machinery.
