2024 Maastricht University, Netherlands: High Potential Scholarship. For exceptionally gifted students from outside the European Union (EU) who have been accepted to UM’s master’s program, the university is happy to offer its NL-High Potential Scholarship program, which offers 24 full scholarships of €30,000 (including tuition fee waiver and monthly stipend) each academic year. The two scholarships that make up the scholarship program are the NL Scholarship, which is sponsored by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science in collaboration with Dutch universities and universities of applied sciences, and the High Potential Scholarship, which is funded by the Maastricht University Scholarship Fund.

Maastricht University NL: High Potential Scholarship Requirements

Nationality of a non-EU/EEA country, Switzerland, or Surinam, requiring a Netherlands entry visa and residency permit.
Not dual-national in Switzerland or any other EU/EEA nation.
Application for admission to a full-time master’s program for the 2024–2025 academic year.
Eligibility for the UM master’s program is due to special entrance requirements.
No participation in a Dutch higher education program leading to a degree.
Age limit of 35 years as of September 1, 2024.
A recent grade transcript or academic excellence certification indicating good performance in previous programs.
