Job Requirements:

Must have formal training as a plumber or steamfitter.
Must hold a valid Certificate of Qualification and gas installations (Class “Bticket) from the Manitoba Department of Labour.
Preference is given to candidates with both plumbing and steam fitting licenses.
Must have a current Cross Connection/Backflow Device testing license from the City of Winnipeg.
Must hold a valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s License.
At least five years of related experience after receiving a journeyman’s certificate.
Expertise in maintaining both high- and low-pressure steam systems, as well as testing backflow devices.
Capacity to oversee assistants and calculate installation and maintenance expenses.
Capacity to collaborate with contractors, service providers, and other tradespeople.
the capacity to evaluate ongoing building projects and successfully convey concerns.
Analytical problem-solving abilities are required.
Must work safely, demonstrate honesty, integrity, sound work ethics, and a positive attitude.
Capable of working in confined areas, on scaffolds, on swing stages, and with aerial truck devices.
Must wear all forms of personal protective equipment.
Requires regular attendance and punctuality.
