Refugee Scholarship 2024. If you are accepted into one of Bangor University’s study programs as an international student, the university can provide you with financial help. Bangor University provides financial aid in the form of bursaries, scholarships, tuition fee reductions, and discounts to assist with living expenses and current tuition.Â
University of Bangor Scholarship Overview

Bangor University’s Refugee Scholarship
- Offers to students forced to leave their home country.
- Provides safety in North Wales.
University Hall Accommodation Advantages:
- Waiver of whole tuition fees.
- There is no accommodation fee.
Refugee Scholarship Qualifications
- The home base must be North West Wales.
- A strong academic background and an equivalent UK bachelor’s degree are required.
- There is no full-time third-party sponsorship.
- Only those paying home tuition fees are eligible.
- Possession of indefinite leave or refugee status is required.
- Open to master’s programs taught in North West Wales.
- Can be used for full-time on-campus courses.
- Not available to Bangor University International College (BUIC) students.
Scholarship Utilization Process
- Needs to be accepted as a student at Bangor University.
- Verify scholarship eligibility and review requirements.
- Complete the refugee scholarship application before the deadline.
- September intake was selected by July, and January intake by December.
- The acceptance form must be filled out within two weeks of receiving the offer.
