Google Public Policy Fellowship for Graduates in the U.S. Shape Tomorrow’s Policies: Dive into Google’s Fellowship for U.S. Graduates in Public Policy. Students interested in Internet and technology policy can apply year-round for the U.S. Google Public Policy Fellowship. Accepted fellows will spend a semester working for a non-profit at the center of discussions around tech policy challenges.

During the course of the semester, fellows will have the chance to collaborate with multiple senior staff members and contribute to the public discourse on tech policy concerns while also identifying potential future academic and professional interests. Fellows will be allocated a lead mentor at a host organization. Colleagues will be supposed to essentially propel crafted by their association through exercises, for example, directing arrangement exploration and examination, composing reports and white papers, going to gatherings and gatherings of the public authority and business, and participating in other promotion endeavors.

Benefits
A stipend of USD 12,000 will be provided to fellows who work full-time, or 40 hours per week, for the fellowship. Part-time employees, or those who put in 20 hours a week, will get a stipend of USD 6,000 for the fellowship.

Requirements
We are searching for students who are interested in Internet policy and have a strong enthusiasm for technology. Students with the following qualifications from all majors and degree programs are encouraged to apply:

  • Show or declare support for Internet and technology policy
  • Outstanding academic record, extracurricular, professional, and volunteer activities, and subject-matter competence
  • First-rate analytical, communications, research, and writing skills superior communication, research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to operate nimbly and resourcefully in a fast-paced atmosphere while managing numerous projects simultaneously and effectively

Application-Required Documents

Students should be prepared to present transcripts from their approved institution as evidence of enrollment or admission status to Google or the host organisations upon request. It is not necessary for transcripts to be official; a photocopy of the original would do. A typical non-disclosure agreement will also need to be signed by the students.
