Postgraduate Students’ World Trade Organization Internship Program

To take advantage of the Postgraduate Students’ World Trade Organization Internship Program, applications are now being accepted from interested and appropriately qualified persons. Through this program, post-graduate students from WTO member and observer nations can work at the WTO and obtain invaluable experience. A range of internship programs are offered by the WTO Secretariat to post-graduate students. Selections for internships are made based on merit, taking into consideration the applicant’s background, education, and experience.

World Trade Organization Internship Program Requirements

Citizens of a WTO member state, nation, or customs territory negotiating membership.
Must have completed at least one year of postgraduate and undergraduate studies in the relevant field.
Applicants must be at least 21 years old and no older than 30.

Internship Benefits at the WTO

A daily stipend of CHF 60 is provided.
The WTO cannot cover travel costs to and from Geneva.
Interns must arrange their health insurance.
