EdTech Fellowship Program of the Injini Mastercard Foundation, 2024

Applications for the EdTech Fellowship Program of the Injini Mastercard Foundation, 2024, managed by Injini’s EdTech in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation, are invited from suitably qualified individuals. The program is planned for high-development, high-influence organizations that utilize innovation and advancement to resolve pressing issues in South African training. Partitioned into three primary center regions, Injini’s EdTech Fellowship Program is a six-month, value-free, half-breed adventure help program that utilizes an organizational way to deal with organization speed increases. It will be presented from May through October 2024.

  • Addresses a significant market opportunity in South Africa.
  • Possess innovative technology-based solutions for expanding educational opportunities.
  • Targets pre-primary, primary, and secondary education students.
  • Provides teacher training and professional development.
  • Grown-stage start-up with annual revenue over R1,000,000.
  • Capable of enrolling 8,000 direct learners in one year.
  • Supports female founders and leadership teams.
  • Led by a diverse workforce.

EdTech Fellowship Goals:

  • Reach “bottom of the pyramid” students.
  • Develop impact monitoring, assessment, and measurement methods.
  • Enhance financial sustainability and assist with investment preparation.

Application Process for the EdTech Fellowship Program

  • Eligible EdTech founders or business leaders can apply.
  • The top 25 EdTech companies will be invited for virtual interviews.
  • Selected candidates will provide additional data for a detailed assessment of potential expansion.
  • 18 chosen EdTech businesses will present their proposals in Cape Town on March 26–17, 2024.
  • Notified candidates will be notified on March 28, 2024.
  • Contracting and program onboarding will occur on April 1, 2024.
  • A private event will be held on April 11, 2024, for 12 South African EdTech businesses to present.
  • Injini will cover one person’s transportation expenses to Cape Town.
