Scholarships from the Swedish Institute for Global Professionals. Many master’s programs at Swedish universities will be qualified for scholarships in the fall of 2024 thanks to the Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP), another scholarship program that will supplant the Swedish Institute Study Scholarships (SISS). The SI Scholarship for Global Professionals seeks to develop future global leaders who will support both positive and sustainable development in their nations and regions and the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

SISGP Eligibility Criteria

The following requirements must be met:

  • Citizenship of a nation eligible for SI scholarships;
  • Master’s programs must be eligible for SI scholarships.
  • Demonstrated work experience and leadership experience from a current or previous employer or involvement in civil society;
  • Obligation to pay tuition fees to Swedish universities;
  • Compliance with university admissions procedures;
  • Timely payment of the application fee;
  • Admission to master’s programs by March 21, 2024;
  • Additional requirements include dual citizenship, prior residence, and studies in Sweden.

Application guidelines:

  • Application Portal for SI Scholarship Openings
  • It will be open from February 12 to February 28, 2024.
  • By January 15, 2024, apply for a master’s program at universityadmissions.se.
  • Get your unique application number for the SI Scholarship.
  • Digitally submit the necessary documents between February 12, 2024, at 00:01 and February 28, 2024, at 14:59 CET.
