A ‘Nightingale’ facility is being built in the William Harvey Hospital’s main parking lot in Ashford. Workers are erecting fencing around the property and beginning construction on the overspill unit, which will be able to accommodate 100 patients. More Nightingale locations might be established if needed, providing up to 4,000 additional beds around the country.
