International students can apply for the Scholarships from the World Bank 2024–2025 to continue their education in one of 35 participating programs at institutions in important development areas. By offering scholarships to scholars and aspiring researchers, the Development Economics Vice Presidency (DEC) supports the World Bank’s objective of enhancing knowledge exchange and capacity building in developing nations. Over 6,000 highly qualified development professionals and scholars have been recruited through the DEC’s scholarship programs since the program’s founding, greatly influencing the nations in which they work and the generations that follow.

World Bank Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Nationality of one of the World Bank’s member nations.
Not employed by the World Bank or a direct family member of an employee.
At least three years of related field or equivalent education.
There are no two citizenships in a modern nation.
At least three years of paid development-related work after a bachelor’s degree.
