International Students to Receive Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarships in 2024. Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Scholarships 2024 Eligibility Criteria

  • Must have a university degree.
  • Must demonstrate above-average academic performance.
  • Must be no older than 35.
  • Must have good knowledge of German (B1* or B2 level).

Document requirements include:

Master Student Application Form

  • Download and fill out the application form.
  • Attach a CV, motivation letter, translation of examination certificates, study performance records, and proof of German language skills (B2).
  • Provide an academic letter of recommendation—a two-month-old letter from a university professor or teacher with a doctoral degree.
  • Provide a letter of recommendation about the applicant’s personality, interests, values, and social commitment.
  • Provide proof of voluntary work if available.
  • Provide a certificate of admission or matriculation from the German university.

PhD application documents

  • A detailed doctoral thesis description in German or English outlining the research question, scientific relevance, theoretical approach, and research subject choice.
  • Work and schedule, bibliography.
  • A second academic letter of recommendation from the thesis supervisor replaces the previous recommendation letter.
  • Written confirmation from the faculty or department stating admission to the program is unconditional.
