International Students’ AU Emerging Global Leader Scholarship 2024–2025
Applications for the International Students’ AU Emerging Global Leader Scholarship 2024–2025 are presently being acknowledged by international students worldwide. The scholarship pays for all billable AU costs (educational costs, lodging, and board) for one international understudy who wishes to study in the United States but requires a visa (preferably an F-1 or J-1 understudy visa). AU Emerging Global Leader Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- Preference for international students overcoming challenges and from diverse, underrepresented backgrounds.
- For grades nine through twelve, a minimum 3.8 GPA is equivalent to of 4.0 GPA.
- Demonstrated commitment to leadership, volunteerism, community service, and the advancing home country needs.
Eligibility Criteria for IELTS Applications
- Students must have a minimum of 95+ TOEFL iBT, 24+ paper-based TOEFL subscores, 7.0+ IELTS, 33 minimum SAT Reading Subscore, 29 minimum ACT English, 65 minimum PTE, and 120+ Duolingo subscores.
- Students enrolled in secondary or high school and graduating by June 2022 are eligible.
- IB system students must graduate with a full IB diploma with at least 3 HL subjects. British A-Level students must complete at least 3 A-Levels and finish 13 years before August 2022.
- Eligibility is restricted to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or dual citizens of the U.S. and another country.
AU Emerging Global Leader Scholarship Benefits
- Covers all billable AU expenses for international students needing visas for US study.
- Doesn’t cover non-billable expenses like health insurance, books, airline tickets, and miscellaneous expenses (approximately U.S.$4,000 per year).
