Ghent University Special Research Fund: 2024 Scholarships for Underdeveloped Nations. The Ghent University Special Research Fund PhD Scholarship application period is as yet open. It is encouraged that meriting and qualified PhD candidates from developing countries look for the opportunity to study in the UK. With funding from the “Special Research Fund,” the cooperation plans to help meriting doctorate students who might want to direct 50% of their research at Ghent establishment and the other half at a foundation in a developing country (BOF).

Ghent University Special Research Fund Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be international students from developing countries.

  • The doctoral project, the relevance of the research topic, the promoter’s research group’s potential, the Ghent University-Local Institute partnership, and the local institute’s scientific/scholarly disposition are also considered.
