Position Overview: Fabrication/Welder
- Requires solid welding and fitting knowledge.
- Welders must be CWB-certified for custom-assembling and welding fabricated steel.
- Equipment includes an iron worker, drill press, torch, angle grinder, small power tools, and overhead cranes.
- No field work is required, but there are opportunities for road crew.
- M&G supports career progression within the company.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift and overhead crane for material movement.
- Interpret M&G’s blueprints, including weld symbols.
- Use various tools to layout, mark, cut, bend, roll, and weld structural, plate, and light galvanized steel.
- Maintain a safe attitude while using equipment and in the workshop.
- Work independently or as a team, with communication expected for quality control.
Job Requirements:
- Comfortable with measurements and blueprint reading.
- Fluent in English for communication with M&G departments.
- Requires reliable transportation; no transit access.
- Aims for over 2 years of experience in a similar role or welding experience.
- Knowledge of CWB and willingness to be certified.
We are now seeking welders and fitters for both our day and night schedules. There will be a shift premium for the night shift.
