The 35-year-old confessed that his professional sport is still very important to him. The news comes as the 20-time major champion prepares for the Australian Open, which starts on January 17th. The Spaniard has explained why he is not in a rush to start a family while still in his prime.
In a 2019 interview, the athlete stated that it is “not simple to forecast” when the pair will receive their own child. “I assumed I’d already been a former player at this age. Nadal, on the other hand, stated that he has not ruled out the possibility of having children and that he would like to have three. Only one thing is certain: I will have a family. Despite knowing each other for some years, the couple apparently began dating in 2005. It was a matter of “finally” when they tied the knot after dating for 14 years. They announced their engagement in January 2019 and were married in October of that year.
