BERNARD TOMIC TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID.


Bernard Tomic, an Australian, has tested positive for COVID-19. On Tuesday, Tomic was defeated 6-1, 6-4 by Roman Safiullin of Russia in the first round of qualifying, and he appeared to be suffering from a coronavirus infection. The Australian chastised practices that allowed players to compete in qualification without having their PCR levels checked on a frequent basis.
