If you need actual evidence, look no further than the Philadelphia Eagles on game day. When things go well, quarterbacks get more credit than they deserve. When things go wrong, they take much too much responsibility. Wide receivers and cornerbacks are common places to find them.

At the risk of seeming insulting, wideouts are frequently referred to as the team’s divas. On the defensive side of the ball, cornerbacks are a position that Deion Sanders revolutionized. As a result, they’ve been assigned to defense. That has introduced us to some of the top playmakers in the NFL, such as Philadelphia’s “Big Play” Darius Slay.

We all think of family, good joy, football, and, in some circumstances, John Madden as we stroll through the Christmas season. Electronic Arts’ pro football simulation still has the name of one of the sports’ most well-known figures. He’s also the subject of an All-Madden documentary that premiered on Christmas Day.

You can never go wrong with EA’s Madden NFL game, assuming you can find someone who doesn’t already have it. The game is played by both men and women. If you don’t think Madden NFL is essential, ask the NFL stars who don’t think they’re as fast as they should be in the game. You can even ask Slay, who recently turned to Twitter to express his dissatisfaction with his overall grade after being named to the Pro Bowl.

It’s not like the guy is incorrect! In 2021 alone, we’re talking about three interceptions, two fumble recoveries, 213 return yards (on those interceptions and fumble recoveries), and three defensive touchdowns. Isn’t that at least deserving of a 95 or higher total rating?
